A clogged drain is not anyone’s friend. Generally speaking a clogged drain just means pouing some draino down the sink/toilet/tub. But what if it is something more?
Sometimes, over time, the main drain line going to the street or to your septic system (depending on what you have) can become ecluded. As time passes, less and less can get by it until eventually… a main drain line backup into the home.
It is an all to often event unfortunatly, and one that is not easily forgotten. To help prevent this issue from occuring, be concious of what you put down the drain. Avoid things like food, bacon grease, paper towels, etc.
Also, consider having a sewer scope performed on your drain lines, and possibly having it snaked out.
