Do you have a CO detector in your home? Sadly, many times when I am performing a home inspection here in Rockwall, there is not a CO detector. I say it is sad, because it is an important safety device.
Every year thousands of people die from CO (carbon monoxide) poisoning. It is preventable, though, with proper CO detectors. Since it is colorless and odorless, these detectors are the only real way for home owners to know if there is trouble.
So put a little notation in your Google calendar to check your home to see if you have CO detectors and that they are in good working order.
