Denim Insulation

First, it gets hot around here, and insulation is important to keeping your home cool in the summer. Denim insulation has a great R-Value and performs well in both the summer and the winter.
It is 85% recycled. So those old blue jeans you threw away might actually end up in someone’s attic some day.
It has great acoustics. in fact, its acoustical rating is about 30% higher than many of its counterparts you see on the shelves.
Now for the bad part (because there is always a downside) – cost. On average, you will likely pay about twice as much for denim insulation as you will for regular fiberglass insulation.
