While a pressure-assist toilet may seem like a great idea, are there any drawbacks to installing one? They do cost more than a traditional toilet does, but they require less maintenance so it’s a good idea to weigh up your options. Some people are also put off by the loud sound of the flush. Another disadvantage is that if your home has low water pressure, a pressure-assist toilet may not be a good idea as it needs around 20 to 30 PSI of pressure.
